parents - here's how to cover cost:
BROADCAST COST COVERED THROUGH PARENTS
The concept is that parents on opposing teams combine efforts to cover cost by spreading out the cost with other parents who have players involved.
Once the Season Schedule comes out, a team parent sends out a group email to all other parents associated with their team inquiring as to whether they'd be interested in donating a small dollar amount to have one of their game(s) professionally broadcast. If the parent's email gets a positive response, the organizing parent would reach out to a parent on an apposing team to gauge their interest and have them do the same. If there is mutual interest, coverage is possible.
BREAKDOWN:
A) A Parent emails other parents of players associated to team to gauge interest
B) Parent then emails opposing team to gauge interest
C) Determine the Type of Coverage based on projected dollar amount of donations
D) A Parent gathers donations
C) Discuss with the League the possibility they could do a 50% match of donations (This would lower dollar amounts needed from parents)
